Acceptable Use Policy
Votelyra policy and product-concept terms.
Updated: October 29, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy protects the people who organize and join Votelyra polls. It applies to ballots, invitations, uploads, results displays, integrations, and account activity. The current website is a static demonstration and does not operate live polls, but these rules define the product’s intended boundaries.
The central rule
One person, one vote. No vote buying, no manipulation, no impersonation campaigns. A poll must represent a genuine invitation to participate, not a mechanism for manufacturing apparent support. Organizers are responsible for configuring eligibility and participation rules honestly and for communicating material rules before voting starts.
Prohibited voting conduct
You must not buy, sell, rent, exchange, or reward votes in a way that distorts the stated decision. You must not create or coordinate fake voters, use bots or scripts to submit responses, rotate identities to evade limits, steal credentials, intercept invitations, or instruct others to impersonate eligible participants. You must not alter another organizer’s ballot, suppress eligible voters through deception, or misrepresent the time, purpose, or consequences of a vote.
Cookie-based and email-verification controls can reduce casual duplication but are not proof of unique identity. Do not advertise them as fraud-proof. Grand’s activity audit logs and raw exports support organizer review; they do not establish independently audited results.
Content and campaign restrictions
Do not upload unlawful, infringing, hateful, harassing, or sexually exploitative material. Do not use polls to facilitate violence, doxxing, discrimination prohibited by law, malware distribution, phishing, or unauthorized surveillance. Image polls require appropriate rights to every uploaded image. A parody or research ballot must not be presented as an official election or as affiliated with an organization without permission.
Privacy and invitations
Voter emails are used only for the vote and never sold. Upload only addresses you are permitted to use. Do not scrape lists, add voters to unrelated campaigns, or use reminders as spam. Do not ask for unnecessary sensitive information in a ballot. Organizers should provide suitable notices and honor applicable privacy obligations.
Security and technical limits
Do not probe or disrupt infrastructure without authorization, bypass plan or access controls, overload the service, or misuse the API. Automated access must remain within documented limits and fair-use rules. You may not resell access unless your agreement expressly allows it.
Enforcement and reporting
A live operator could remove content, restrict invitations, suspend accounts, or preserve relevant records where necessary to investigate abuse or meet legal duties. Enforcement should be proportionate and subject to applicable consumer law. Contact ceo@votelyraapp.com for reporting and support. The demonstration inquiry form does not transmit reports and must not be used for urgent or sensitive disclosures.
